Mental Structures is a series of blue ballpoint pen drawings that explores the tension between line and mood. Each work conveys, through careful gestures and variations in pressure, a distinct state. The practice of drawing in pen, where each line is a conscious choice, serves as a means to explore the relationship between structure and affective impulse.

The shape of the head, reduced to its linear essence, functions as a framework for perception, positioning the image between figurative and abstract, without settling into a conventional portrait.
